Why Join NCS?

One common thread that ties us all together is the collective grief of the past few years. Whether it be a loss of normalcy, jobs, loved ones, or even just a loss of a sense of security and well-being—we’ve all felt it. We’ve learned that the connection we have to each other is what truly creates a community. Simply put, that’s why we’re here! The members of NCS come together each week to sing, of course, but it’s what we gain by singing with each other that keeps us all coming back each season.

The benefit is tremendous, not only to our audience members but to the members of NCS as well. Singers credit singing in a chorus with making them more optimistic, mindful, and resilient. The act of creating music together serves as a source of strength, joy, and community, especially during challenging times.

Your Support Matters

For NCS, our journey is one of dedication and passion. As we navigate the challenges of the times, your support has been instrumental in our ability to share the gift of music year after year. According to data from the National Endowment for the Arts, artistic event attendance has declined since 2017, largely attributed to the pandemic. This decline has directly affected our fundraising capabilities, and we need your help to continue our mission.

Your support can help NCS continue to fill the air with beautiful music. Your generosity ensures that our voices resonate for generations to come. Give the gift of music; give the gift of community. We sincerely hope that you will consider supporting Neponset Choral Society.

Thank you for being a part of our musical journey!
